Creative hunger
Years ago, there was a funny TV commercial for Snickers with Joan Collins. You might remember the story: a football player turns into a not-at-all-nice diva (Joan Collins from Dynasty) whenever he is hungry. The slogan was “You are not you when you are hungry.”
Did you see a part of yourself in her (him)?
I sure did (my partner agrees. Totally;)
Hunger tends to have such an effect on people.
Creative hunger, too.
What do I mean by creative hunger?
I believe that when you are creative (and we all are), you have this specific hunger that cannot be satisfied by anything else but doing creative work.
If art is your thing, making art feeds your soul. Drawing and painting enable you to be who you are. And that makes you happy.
So I hope you are already using your creativity regularly.
If you feel you are not, start now with some simple material and see how it goes. You can use my free pdf: How to start painting freely and playfully. (You will get 9 proven tips that will help you.) Download it here.
It may be the first step towards turning off the diva switch for good;)
